Registration

Students must complete and submit a pre-registration form before Sunday, 21 April. In the last question of the form, "How did you hear about the summer program?", students must select "Other" and specify "Qatar Music Academy Student".

During the registration process, students are required to record and upload a short video performance (3 minutes long). This video will help the artistic advisor assess the student's level and organize chamber music groups accordingly. Students must also provide a brief summary of their musical experience and a motivation letter (200 words).

The Artistic Team will select participants based on artistic criteria, evaluating the video performance and motivation letter, as well as considering the student's potential based on their age and musical experience.

All interested participants must complete the online form as soon as possible and no later than Sunday, 21 April. This timeline allows the Reina Sofía Summer Camp's Artistic Team enough time to review submissions and make selections before Tuesday, 30 April.

Please note that the standard of the Summer Music Camp is very high. Students are advised to consult their instrument teacher regarding what they need to play and record for their application. Ms. Florencia Carballo, the coordinator of the Summer Camp, can provide further details and can be in touch directly with families.
