Educational Philosophy

Every Qatar Music Academy student has the capacity to actively engage with and enjoy music. Our role as music educators is to facilitate learning and discourse, preparing and engaging diverse learners to become productive members of society. Through music, we aim to involve students in activities that require them to be creative, disciplined, flexible, and to work cooperatively with others. We must also help them explore the emotions that different types of music evoke and assist them in learning to articulate what they feel and why. Lastly, our role is to educate students about other cultures so that they can learn to see the world through another's eyes and appreciate alternative ways of thinking and living.
